I’ve been separated from everything that didn’t fit into our six travel bags for 88 days.  Those boxes and I took various routes to the Netherlands. Tomorrow we reunite!

Unpacking and setting up house is one of my favorite experiences. I love that it feels like Christmas, reopening all your favorite gifts!  I love figuring out where everything goes.

In an attempt to focus on the fun, and not the chaos or moving abroad, here is what I can’t wait to unpack.

– H’s trains.  (I know the trains will buy me time to unpack.)

– My pillow.

– My favorite jeans.

– My Wellies.

– My dishes.

– All the dutch electrical plug converters

Now that I’m making a list I’m pretty sure I’m excited to just have our stuff surround us in this strange place.

I’m also glad that getting all the furniture to the 2nd and 3rd floor with only a spiral staircase is not my problem! Ha!
