Scotland, A Quick Overview

We had quite the trip to Scotland! We spent 13 days in country and honestly it was not enough! Scotland is one of those places I would love to return to and continue to explore. Each little town offered something new and there were whole areas we bypassed to reach larger attractions.
The general plan was to drive about 2-3 hours each day. We tried to stay in towns outside of the attractions since our kids are up early, thus putting some of our driving in the morning when attractions are not open and some of our driving around our 2pm nap time.
If you’ve been reading the blog then you know I’ve presented each geographic area in its own post, but I’ve gotten quite a few questions as to how we structured our trip. Here is a brief overview of how we divided our time with links to the relevant blog post.
