Review: Kids Preschool Puzzle App
I’m always on the lookout for apps to keep the kids occupied when we are traveling. When meals take longer than expected or when we are on a long train ride, it is nice to pull out some novel games that are educational and entertaining.
I was contacted by Kids Preschool Puzzle creator Milen Kirkov to give his puzzle app a try.
The app contains several different types of puzzles.
There are 18 fruit and vegetable puzzles, which are not square but the shape of the fruit or vegetable. My three-year old completed these with some difficulty, but they were his favorite.
There are three levels of drag and drop shape puzzles. These levels look just like a real shape puzzle. The pieces are laid out on one side and the board is on the left. My three-year old completed these easily. These were my one-year-old’s favorite and they were quite difficult for him.
Similarly there are three levels of drag and drop number puzzles.
There are also 12 jigsaw puzzles. They are too hard for the one-year-old but a good level for my three-year-old. He is able to complete them all but they take some time to accomplish.
The app is available in the iTunes Store and on Google Play. October 7th through October 11th (2015) the app is free on iTunes and only $0.99 (US) / €0.50 (EU) on Android. After October 11th the app will be available for $1.99 USD on the App Store and Google Play.
