We’ve unpacked the Christmas decorations already this season.  We did not bring many of our decorations with us but the holiday books all came along. The books are able to transport us into so many fun holiday worlds, and inspire many great crafts for the littles. They are truly my most favorite thing to unpack!

This year I’m pleased to add a new book to our growing collection: The Myth of  Santa’s Beard. It is a National Award Winning Book with a traditional Christmas message to be enjoyed by adults and children alike.

The illustrations are beautiful. The text is the perfect length for my four year old and two year old to really enjoy.

The story is cute and original. At the North Pole, Santa’s beard grows a bit each time children around the world are good and kind. This year however, so many children are being good that Santa’s beard has become too long to walk, talk or even make the toys!  The Elves have a plan to tame Santa’s beard in time for Christmas Eve – the best kids on the list will receive a snippet of Santa’s beard!

My kids giggled as Santa’s beard grew. They laughed as we asked them if they did any of the nice things listed in the book that caused Santa’s beard to grow. Then they were delighted to find their very own snippet of Santa’s beard, tied with a red ribbon at the end of the book.

You can receive 15% off The Myth of Santa’s Beard (or any other product) by using the code Blogger16 on the Carousel Publishing webpage.

  1. Our favorite holiday tradition is “Family Favorite” dinner where everyone picks their favorite food as part of the meal. Sometimes we have crab and Taco Bell but that’s half the fun!
